Andy Harris of Henry has been named Nspire Today!’s Hometown Hero of the Week, sponsored by Schank Roofing in Scottsbluff.
Harris served in the Army from 1989 to 1992 in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Harris was nominated for the Hometown Hero of the Week honor by his son, Riley Harris.
“He’s the one who kind of talked me into going into the Army,” said Riley, who’s currently a senior at Morrill High School. “He’s been there for me pretty much every step of the way. He’s always helped me and pushed me to do better. I’m as proud of him as a son can be. He’s one of my biggest heroes. He stands above the rest.”
