SCOTTSBLUFF – Carlee Todd hadn’t thought about participating in tumbling until about five years ago when she was watching a movie on Netflix.

The movie, she said, focused on gymnastics, and she was intrigued by the athletes’ mobility and performances.

“I remember thinking, ‘I really want to try that,’” said Todd, who’s now an eighth-grader at Bluffs Middle School. “I told my parents I was interested in it, so they took me to the Carpenter Center to try tumbling. I loved it.”
