Cassandra Muhr of Community Christian School in Scottsbluff has been named TC & More’s Teacher of the Week.
The person who nominated Muhr for TC & More’s Teacher of the Week said, “After eight years in second grade, Mrs. Muhr accepted the challenge to teach kindergarten at CCS this year. To say she has rocked it would be an understatement! … She wrote several grants over the summer that allowed her the opportunity to completely redo the kindergarten classroom design. Mrs. Muhr spent countless hours studying best practice, creating lessons, searching Teachers Pay Teachers, and transforming her classroom into an amazing place for kinders to learn and grow. A person would only need to spend about 5 minutes in their classroom to realize how unique and engaging the environment is for her students!”
Muhr will receive a $10 gift certificate to TC & More, which is located at 1621 Broadway Ave. in downtown Scottsbluff. Gift certificates may be picked up at TC & More.
