BAYARD – Tiffany Kisner, of Bayard, has been attending Life Unlimited Church in Scottsbluff for about five years. Kisner, 30, graduated from Bayard High School in 2009. She has a daughter, Ryleigh, who’s a fifth-grader at Bayard Elementary School.

Q: How much have you enjoyed attending Life Unlimited Church in Scottsbluff?

KISNER: “It’s been amazing. I’ve always felt comfortable there; I’ve never felt like I’m being judged at church. They’ve welcomed me with open arms. To me, it’s not just a church; it’s more like a family. It’s really nice to have a connection with people who are close to God. I think it’s important to have that in your life.”

Q: How much has going to church impacted your life?

KISNER: “I’ve been going to church since I was born. I grew up going to a baptist church in Bridgeport. We were really involved there. My grandma was an Awana teacher. After high school I moved to the Wellington, Colorado, area, and I didn’t seek out a church. I was just kind of living my life. I ended up moving back to Bayard, and after having three family members pass away, I was ready to start going to church again. I went with a couple family members at first, and now our whole family goes to church. Life Unlimited Church has been a game-changer for me. It’s been a big eye-opener. When the pastor [Steve Schwartzkopf]  speaks, he’s speaking to you. It’s always on point for me. There hasn’t been a time when I’ve left the church that I wasn’t crying, just because his messages always touch my soul.”
