Q: How much have you enjoyed being in One Acts?
VOGL: “This is my first year in it. It’s been going pretty good.”
Q: Why did you decide to participate in One Acts this year?
VOGL: “I got signed up for it by one of my buddies, and I decided to stick with it to try something new.”
Q: What is it that you enjoy most in school?
VOGL: “Probably either woodworking or welding.”
Q: How did your football season go?
VOGL: “We just lost our last game. We went 5-4. We lost in the first round of the playoffs to the No. 4 team in the state.”
Q: Was it a pretty good season overall for Crawford?
VOGL: “Yes, we had a great season.”
Q: What positions did you play?
VOGL: “I played running back, a little bit of wide receiver, a little bit of defensive end, a little bit of corner – just about everything.”
Q: Have you turned your attention now to the wrestling season?
VOGL: “Yes.”
Q: How long have you been wrestling?
VOGL: “Pretty much my whole life. I think this will be my 14th year.”
Q: What are your goals for this wrestling season?
VOGL: “My goal is to get to 100 wins and qualify for the state tournament.”
Q: How many wins do you have right now for your wrestling career?

VOGL: “I take school pretty seriously. School comes first before any activity. Grades have always been important to me. I’ve always given my best effort in school.”
Q: During your educational career, which teacher has influenced you the most?
VOGL: “Probably my math teacher. His name is Eric Snitily. He does a good job of preparing us, and he connects the class to real-life experiences, like what he’s experienced. I think that helps quite a bit. He gives you an idea of what to expect when you get out of high school.”
Q: Have you lived in Crawford your whole life?
VOGL: “Yes, I have.”
Q: How much have you enjoyed growing up in Crawford?
VOGL: “I like it quite a bit. I like that it’s a small town. I don’t really care for being around an overabundance of people.”

VOGL: “Everybody is friendly, and word gets around fast. Everybody pretty much knows each other.”
Q: What are your plans after you graduate from high school?
VOGL: “I think I’m going to go to WNCC [in Alliance] for the lineman program. If I don’t like that, then I’ll go into the welding program at WNCC.”

VOGL: “One of my buddies, who graduated a couple years ago, did it, and he said he really enjoyed it.”
Q: After you’re done with college, are you hoping to live around the Crawford area?
VOGL: “I would like to travel a little bit, but once I get ready to settle down, then I would probably try to come back to Crawford. But it’s hard to say what will happen.”

VOGL: “That’s a good question. Probably Will Ackerman.”

Q: What do you think is the coolest attraction in the WyoBraska area?
VOGL: “I would say Fort Robinson State Park. I did a lot of fishing there this summer. There’s really pretty scenery, and it’s a lot of fun. It’s just a great place to go, whether you want to take your kids fishing, go on a jeep ride, or do one of the many other activities they have there.”
Q: What’s your favorite restaurant in the area?
VOGL: “Probably the China House in Chadron. I like Chinese food, and it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet, so I can eat as much as I want.”
Q: If you could give a shoutout to one business in Crawford, which one would it be and why?
VOGL: “Northwest Auto Body and Paint because the guy who owns it works really hard. He always tries to do the best job he can. That’s where I worked the past two summers.”
