Sarah and Will Troester were inspired after watching Kirk Cameron, who starred in ‘Growing Pains’ and a number of hit movies, start a 100-day American Campfire Revival on his Facebook page earlier this year. In May, the Troesters decided to start hosting their own American Campfire Revival, which includes singing worship songs, saying prayers for the nation, and learning about the role faith played in the nation’s early history while attendees sit around a campfire in their backyard. The group then wraps up each get-together by making s’mores and enjoying fellowship with one another.

ALLIANCE – Sarah and Will Troester of Alliance have always been big fans of Kirk Cameron, an American actor who starred in the ABC sitcom “Growing Pains” and who also has appeared in a number of hit movies over the years, including “Fireproof.”
It’s not just Cameron’s acting, though, that the Troesters admire about him. They also like that he’s a Christian, that he’s not afraid to speak publicly about his love for God, and that he does what he can to encourage others to grow in their faith.
“We’ve been inspired by what he’s been doing,” Will said.
