FEATURE: Chuckaboo Station – A place where delicious drinks and food are paired with good times

Drew and Teran Enevoldsen of Potter have always realized the importance of giving back to one’s community, and six years ago they figured a good way to do that was by purchasing a nearly 100-year-old building and turning it into something that would benefit their town – a coffee shop that serves high-quality drinks. They opened Chuckaboo Station in May 2021, and since then it’s expanded to include other offerings, including their popular pizzas and other food. The Enevoldsens have plans to grow the business in the future, including possibly turning the area behind the building into a nice entertainment area for community members to enjoy.

POTTER – Starting in his early childhood years, Drew Enevoldsen of Potter remembers his parents and other relatives instilling in him a desire to give back to his community in ways that would help the people and places flourish.

His family members set a good example of that. There was even a quote – a Greek Proverb – that was shared among them that they tried to live by: “A society grows great when old men plant trees in whose shade they shall never sit.”

That quote has always stuck with Drew, who’s 39 now.

“My family always tried to help the community as much as they could, alongside many other families in this community, and I think that’s what’s made Potter so special – the residents of Potter who have that mentality. I wanted to be like that, too.”
