FEATURE: ‘I’m excited to be here’

Sean Johnson recently became the sales and marketing director at Northfield Retirement Communities in Scottsbluff. He feels like it’s a great fit for him, especially after serving as the guardian and conservator for several years for his grandpa, who battled dementia before passing away in 2019. The 35-year-old Johnson said he quickly became impressed with what NRC has to offer, and now he’s eager to tell others about the wonderful facilities, activities, people, and affordable living at NRC.

SCOTTSBLUFF – After graduating from Jac-Cen-Del High School in Osgood, Indiana, in 2004, Sean Johnson attended ITT Technical Institute in Newburgh, Indiana.

He earned a business degree from there in 2010, putting him one step closer to accomplishing his goal of working for a rising business. He did just that, moving to San Diego to take a position with a startup company that had a technology marketing platform.

He enjoyed that job and was successful at it, too.

“Toward the end of my time there, we had a bunch of local, regional and national clients,” he said. “Our biggest client was Cirque du Soleil out of Las Vegas.”
