FEATURE: ‘It’s been really exciting to see it grow into what it is today’

Hannah Snyder, a 2010 Banner County High School graduate, didn’t grow up thinking she would someday own her own business. But a little over three years ago, she started working at Nebraska Coffee in Kimball, and about six months later, she and her husband, Dillon, became the owners. Hannah, who primarily runs Nebraska Coffee while her husband focuses on farming, said she’s loves owning – and growing – a successful, popular coffee shop where people can enjoy a variety of delicious food and drinks.

KIMBALL – One day in May 2019, Hannah (Benavides) Snyder pulled into the drive-through at Nebraska Coffee, ordered a drink, and then greeted the owner at the window.

Snyder had noticed a few days earlier on Facebook that Nebraska Coffee was in need of help, so Snyder asked the owner what positions she was looking to fill.

Snyder, who was a stay-at-home mom at the time, wasn’t looking for a job herself. She just wanted to see if she could help the owner find another staff member.

“I’ve just always been that type of person where if a local business is trying to hire someone, I’ll see if I know anyone who could help,” said Snyder, a 2010 Banner County High School graduate.
