Finding other passions in life

Lingle-Ft. Laramie junior Callie Fritzler had dreams of being a standout volleyball and basketball player. Those dreams, however, came to end after Fritzler suffered three major knee injuries. She didn’t let that get her down, however, as she’s found other things she’s passionate about, like maintaining a 4.0 GPA, helping people at school and in her community, and pursuing a career in which she can make a difference in the lives of others.

LINGLE, Wyo. – Like a lot of young kids, Callie Fritzler of Lingle, Wyoming, became interested in sports at an early age. She started participating in volleyball and basketball camps when she was only 5 years old, and she also started playing on a traveling basketball team when she was in fourth grade.

“I loved playing sports, and I really wanted to be good at them,” said Fritzler, who’s now a junior at Lingle-Ft. Laramie High School.
