FOCUS ON FAITH FEATURE: Scottsbluff woman using her passion for fashion to help spread the light of Jesus

Brittli Wallace of Scottsbluff grew up dreaming of making it big in the fashion industry someday. Her initial plans, however, of majoring in fashion at UNL and then landing a prestigious job in New York City didn’t pan out, causing her to feel dejected. Eventually, though, she said God allowed her to finally break into the fashion industry in a way she never expected – by creating and selling Christian apparel. She started that business earlier this year, and her plan is to keep growing the business – with her one and only mission being to spread the love of Jesus through her modern-looking and unique apparel items, jewelry, and accessories.

SCOTTSBLUFF – As a young girl, Brittli (Sell) Wallace cared a lot about the clothes, shoes, accessories, and jewelry she wore. From the colors to the styles, she wanted everything to be as perfectly in sync as possible.

“I was really into fashion,” she said. “My mom even tells me that I would get angry if I didn’t have an outfit on that I liked as a young girl. I was particular about how I dressed, and I wanted to express myself through styles and fashion.”

As the years went by, Wallace never lost her love for fashion. In fact, when she was attending Scottsbluff High School, she made up her mind that she wanted to pursue fashion as a career.

“I had this dream of going to New York City to work in fashion,” she said. “I imagined myself clicking my heels to work in a skyscraper, briefcase in hand. I wanted to make it big into the fashion industry.”
