Q: How has the girls basketball season been going for Gordon-Rushville?
BREHMER: “It’s been going pretty good. We have a lot of underclassmen who are really good and have been playing a lot. We’re already looking better than last season. We won only nine games last year.”
Q: What do you think this year’s team is capable of achieving?
BREHMER: “We have a lot of potential. I think we could beat any team we play this year if we all work together. One of our goals is to win the conference tournament [Feb. 4], but other than that, we just want to keep getting better all-around and have fun.”
Q: Do you think this team has a chance to make a lot of noise in the postseason?
BREHMER: “I believe we have a chance to do really well at subdistricts, and I think we have the potential to make it to state.”
