Leanne Powell of Gering has been named Nspire Today!’s Hometown Hero of the Week, sponsored by Schank Roofing in Scottsbluff.
Powell has been a medication aide at Wel-Life in Scottsbluff for 20 years. She also helps in the kitchen when needed.
The person who nominated Powell said, “She is an integral part of the operations at Wel-Life. She always helps with activities and always helps come up with new ideas. She always goes the extra mile, such as decorating the facility for the holidays. She’s very kind and friendly.”
