MITCHELL – Craig Lemoine, a senior at Mitchell High School, is Nspire Today!’s Male Student of the Month for November. He’s a standout in the classroom, holding a 4.0 GPA. He’s part of National Honor Society, and he’s also involved at school in Student Council (advisory board), Tigers Committed, Quiz Bowl, football, basketball, and golf. This is his third year in both NHS and Quiz Bowl, and his second year in Tigers Committed. In football, he’s in his second year as a starting wide receiver. In basketball, he’s a shooting guard and has been on varsity since his sophomore year. Outside of school, he’s involved at his church, WestWay Christian Church in Scottsbluff, including helping to broadcast services. He also works at Dairy Queen. After high school, he plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln to major in mechanical engineering. His parents are Kara and Raymond Lemoine.
Q: How excited are you to have a 4.0 GPA at this stage of your high school career?
LEMOINE: “It feels great. I’ve put in a lot of hard work to be where I’m at right now. I think it puts me in a great position for my future. I’m really glad I pushed myself to keep a high GPA.”
