GERING – Preston Lenoir, who will be a junior at Gering High School this fall, is not only a three-time champion for the 4-H 22 Pistol Shooters, he also makes and sells Native American Drumsticks.
“It’s just like any other culture. They’ve got to have something to use to drum,” said Lenoir. “I started making the drumsticks a few years ago and the more you practice the more you get better at it.”
