Celia G. Calderón, 71, of Bridgeport, passed away on September 3, 2019 at the Morrill County Community Hospital in Bridgeport. Visitation will be held from 3-7 PM on Thursday, September 12th at Bridgeport Memorial Chapel with a Rosary recited at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 13, 2019 at All Souls Catholic Church in Bridgeport with Father CP Varghese officiating. Celia was born October 21, 1947 at Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico to Isidro Calderón and Maria Garcia. She received her education in Mexico. She was united in marriage to Jose Manuel Carrillo Valencuelo at Jerez. The couple made their home in Mexico and later moved to California. Celia and her family moved to Bridgeport in 2004 where she made her home until her passing.
Celia is survived by her daughters Silva Beltran and Blanca Lamas, sons Jose Carrillo and Mario Carrillo Calderón, sister Esperanza Pita Calderón, 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Celia was preceded in death by her parents Isidro and Maria, husband Jose, sisters Maria and Guadalupe, and brothers Manuel, Jose Luis, and Fidel.
