Dale Lane Kanzler, age 61, of Mitchell, Nebraska, died on February 6, 2023, at home. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Pastor Herb Rainey officiating. Dale was born in Scottsbluff on May 24, 1961, to Melvin and Betty (Lane) Kanzler, and he received his early education through the Scottsbluff Public schools, graduating from Scottsbluff High School. He married McKayla Wiseman on April 18, 2020, at First Baptist Church, and they made their home in Mitchell. Dale made his passion for driving a living by becoming a truck driver. He and McKayla traveled often, enjoying many journeys together. Apart from his “Life is a highway” outlook, his kids were his life, and he will be dearly missed by all those who were privileged to know him.
Survivors include his wife, McKayla; children, Chris (Vanessa) Kanzler, Heather (Quis) Pargo, Abiel Sifuentes, Parker Kanzler, Kinsley Kanzler, Athena Kanzler; mother, Betty; sisters, Mari Ann, Lori (Rick), Gale (Jon), and Jeni; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin, and his grandparents.
