Daniel Frank Gallegos, age 57, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, died on February 2, 2022 at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies. A family viewing will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel from 4pm-5pm. The family invites friends and relatives to join them for a reception at Pineapple 16, E 16th St in Scottsbluff from 6pm-8pm Thursday, February 10.
He was born on March 1, 1964, in Scottsbluff, to Gilbert Gallegos and Josie Ramos and received his early education in Scottsbluff, completing his GED. He married Linda Maldonado on May 24, 1985 in Scottsbluff, where they made their home.
Daniel worked at Packerland, Platte Valley Pet Food Inc., and State of Nebraska Department of Administrative Services. His hobbies including frequenting auctions to hunt for treasures, fishing, horseshoes, and grilling. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, Georgina, Zavier, and Zadien, playing board games, collecting Pokémon cards, and watching them play sports.
Survivors include his wife, Linda M. Gallegos; Sons, Edward and Daniel Jr; and grandchildren, Georgina, Zavier, and Zadien, all of Scottsbluff.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Gilbert and Josie Gallegos; grandparents, Jesse (Albina) Gallegos, and Cruz (Josie) Ramos; sister, Gloria Gallegos; and uncles, Albert (Barbara) Gallegos, Manuel Gallegos, Mark Gallegos, John Ramos, Louie Ramos, and Carlos Ramos.
A loving husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend, he will be missed forever!
