OBITUARY: Daniel “Mac” Charles Macomber

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021. A Zoom service will be held through the Scottsbluff Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness on February 6, 2021 at Noon Mountain Standard Time.   

Daniel “Mac” was born August 8, 1951 in Rochester, New York. 

He married Janice Stanton December 30, 1972.

He was in the Air Force for 8 years and finished his services in 1977. Then he started employment at BNSF Railroad as Brakeman/ Conductor for 33 years. He loved collecting coins and had beloved four-legged babies: Peggy Sue, Buffy, and Daisy. He was also an avid Yankees baseball fan. 

He is survived by his wife, Janice Macomber; 2 daughters, Tracy Stover and Sarah Macomber; son, Brian (Lorene) Macomber; 5 grandkids, Kayla Marie Owen, Mia Tammy Macomber, David Joshua Bolner, Bailey Daniel Macomber, and Ronin Carver Brown; 3 sisters, Arlene Putnam, Evanna DiSalvo, and Luanna (Bill) Gilbert; brother, William Macomber; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Emeline (Buck) Macomber; daughter, Tammy Lynn Macomber; and his two beloved pets, Fancy and Little Bit.
