Darlene Rohde, 82, of Mitchell, Nebraska passed away Wednesday morning, September 4, 2019 at the Mitchell Care Center. Cremation has been chosen per Darlene’s wishes and there will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, September 10th at Bridgman Funeral Home in Scottsbluff, NE. Memorials may be sent in care of Randy Rohde at 1518 12th Ave, Scottsbluff, NE 69361 to be determined at a later date. Darlene Rohde was born on June 4, 1937 in Scottsbluff where she completed school through the 7th grade. Darlene later married August Rohde. To this union they had 6 boys. Darlene was a housewife that took great pride in her boys and grandchildren. Darlene enjoyed crocheting and sewing until she was unable to see.
Darlene was fun, loving, and kind. Darlene will be missed by her family and friends.
Darlene is survived by Randy Rohde (Theresa) of Scottsbluff,Nebraska; Russ Rohde (Lois) of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; grandchildren Jordan, Shylah, Samantha, and Shawn Rohde; and sister Elsie.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband August; siblings Mary, Helen, Louise, Bob, Larry, and Henry; sons Terry, James, Richard, and Kevin Rohde; and daughter-in-law Brenda Rohde.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to the Mitchell Care Center for all the good loving care they provided to Darlene during her stay for the last year.
