A memorial service for Dwaine E. Newton, age 78, of Scottsbluff, who died July 10, 2021, at Regional West Medical Center, will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Panhandle Humane Society and online condolences may be left at www.dugankramer.com.
Dwaine was born July 7, 1943, in San Bernardino, California, to Arthur Newton and Laura Anderson. He was a man of many talents, owning businesses in California and Arizona building aquariums and koi ponds. He finished his working career as a truck driver for Rocky Mountain Soil in Alamosa, Colorado.
Dwaine and Donna moved to Scottsbluff on October 13, 2010 where they enjoyed time with family and friends. He was a big fan of John Wayne and the Denver Broncos. When living in California, he enjoyed deep sea fishing.
Survivors include Donna Geister (Dwaine’s significant other of 35 years); sisters, Judy Newton, Shirley Scott, and Loretta Pressley; nieces and nephews, Pamela (Ron) Blondheim, Rocky (Vickie) Clause, and Rod Clause; and his loyal dog, Sandy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
