Henrietta Flo Haessler, 66, of Scottsbluff, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Monument Care Center in Scottsbluff, NE. Cremation has taken place in accordance with her wishes. Henrietta, AKA “Hank”, AKA “Sis”, was born February 2, 1955 in Scottsbluff, NE to Henry Roy Schaffer Jr. and Florence Bernice (Keller) Schaffer. She graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1973. Her favorite subjects included Creative Art and Stage Craft. She was a member of Thespians. Henrietta grew up in the Foursquare Church and remained active and committed to her Christian faith, graduating from Faith Bible College of Arvada, CO.
She moved to Denver, CO in the mid 1970’s. She and her husband, Steven Haessler Sr., began their family, raising two sons: Steven Haessler Jr. and Cory Haessler. Henrietta was famous for her baking skills and ability to produce a pie crust from scratch. Her cabbage burgers were out-of-this-world delicious. She worked for many years in the office cleaning industry. Henrietta chose to enjoy her retirement in her hometown of Scottsbluff, NE.
Survivors include her brother, David (Phyllis) Schaffer of Thornton, CO; two sons, Steven Heassler Jr. of Longmont, CO and Cory (Heather) Haessler of Lima, OH; three grandsons, Jayden, Landen and Jaxon; and former husband, Steve Haessler Sr.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Henry Schaffer Jr. and Florence Schaffer.
