He was very proud of his origin, heritage and their cultures. He was born in Hong Kong on August 9th, 2002 to Ryan & Grace Santos. His family immigrated to Gering, Nebraska in 2004. He went to Gering public schools through 6th grade. Then graduated high school from his homeschool in 2020. He finished one semester at Frontier School of Bible in Lagrange WY.

He worked the last 2 summers at Camp Rock. He absolutely loved the ministry there and all the children.  His heart was with people.

He was aiming to move on in life pursing his interest in music and spending more time with his friends and people he truly cared about.  His last day was spent with friends enjoying their company and favorite foods, leche flan & sushi.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa Kenneth Smyth, missionary in Hong Kong.

Survivors include his parents Ryan & Grace (Smyth) Santos; siblings Natalie, Nathan, Jorian, Nadia & Jave; Grandma Linda (Gudahl) Smyth of Hong Kong and Grandma Maria Santos Ching, of the Philippines; and many aunts, uncles & cousins.

He loved his family & friends beyond explanation. A life lost too soon.  Our hearts break at his earthly death & heaven rejoices at their gain.
