Larry N. (Barrett) Davis, 75, of Scottsbluff, NE passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 in Loveland, CO. A memorial service will be held at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11:00am.
Larry was born on June 23, 1946 in Scottsbluff, NE. Larry graduated from Scottsbluff Senior High School in 1964. After graduation he worked at the family ranch and worked on the missile silos. Larry wed the love of his life Frankie (Fran Walker) Davis November 19, 1965. Larry loved his family, cars, and motorcycles. He was an avid motorcyclist from a young age competing in motor cross races in the Scottsbluff Valley. Larry and his family moved to Denver in 1969 when he joined the Colorado carpenters union. His racing career lead to a lifelong love of riding. He bought his 1st and only Harley in 1971. He rode and worked on this bike his entire life making lifelong friends along the way. He moved back to Scottsbluff in 1988 and opened several of his own construction companies.
Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Frankie (Walker) Davis; his son, Terry (Ana Paula) Davis of Georgia; his daughter, Tammy (Davis) (Bill) Thorvilson of Colorado; Grandchildren, Nicole & Gregory Davis of Georgia; Step-grandchildren, Grace and Johnathon Thorvilson of Colorado; Great grandchildren, William and Daxton Thorvilson of Colorado; his sister, Dixie Davis of Scottsbluff; along with various nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Davis.
