LaVeda Fyrne (Osnes) Waller, 95 went to be in the arms of Jesus on April 21, 2021. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 11:00 am at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 25 from 2-4 pm at the chapel. Online condolences may be left at www.dugankramer.com. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to assist with final expenses.
LaVeda was born November 23, 1925 to Alfred and Irene (Davis) Osnes north of Bayard, NE. She attended school in Minatare and Gering. She met the Love of her life, Lawrence Waller, while working at Swift Packing. This marriage was blessed with three daughters, Judith, Linda and Sharyl, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandsons and honorary grandchildren Hadlie and Harmony and Hope.
She was well-known for her baking skills, including cabbage burgers while working at Bailey’s Supermarket. LaVeda took great pride in making a home for her family and all who entered became family.
She leaves behind daughters Judy Gilmore (Norfolk) and Linda Neagle (Gering); grandchildren John Gilmore (Norfolk), David (Michelle) Hannawald (Aurora, CO), Brian Hannawald (Gering), Tami Villar (Lincoln), Rena (Mike) Amilin (Broken Bow, NE), Heather (Shane) Pfortmiller (Honolulu, HI), Stephen (Bodil) Reidel (Trondheim, Norway) and Cassie (Lukas) Ludwig (Phoenix, AZ); 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons.
Waiting to meet her in Heaven are her parents, husband Lawrence, daughter Sharyl Reidel, 5 sisters, 2 brothers, granddaughter Alicia Hubbard, grand Brandon Hubbard and great great grandson Jaxson Davenport.
