Margaret L (Cohee) Lerwick, 96 of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Heritage Estates in Gering.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Richard Gasser officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. Margaret was born August 14, 1925 in Gross, Nebraska to Mace and Kate Cohee. She married Melvin Lerwick on June 16, 1986 in Rapid City, SD and made their home in the Hull Community. Among the many things, Margaret enjoyed quilting which was her favorite.
Margaret made her choice to serve God at an early age and was faithful to that choice until the end.
Survivors include her sisters Ruth Raetz Cooper and Hazel Spinar; step sons LeRoy Lerwick, Alton (Elinor) Lerwick; stepson-in-law Jerry Freed; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin; one brother, three sisters and one step daughter Ellen Freed.
