Marilyn was born August 16, 1935 in Gering, NE to Bob & Doris Colson.  She graduated from Gering High School in 1953.  Marilyn married “her cowboy” from Bridgeport, NE, Jack Reinmuth, on June 16, 1956, after meeting on a blind date.

Marilyn graduated from West Nebraska General Hospital School of Nursing on August 26, 1956.  She always made sure to have dual nursing licenses so she could work in Nebraska or Montana. She took pride in working as a nurse providing the best care to every patient she had.  She was a nurse for over 50 years and never wanted to retire. She made it her mission to always give loving care.

The family moved to Montana in 1967. While there, Marilyn enjoyed the mountains and outdoor life. As the true dedicated wife that she was, she liked to joke about how she moved 21 times in 20 years while in Montana before they finally settled back on the family farm in Gering in 1982.

While in college, Marilyn accepted Jesus as her Savior, she and Jack lived the rest of their lives according to the Word.  Marilyn was the silent but driving force behind her husband Jack’s ministry. Jack always used to say “behind every great man, is a greater woman”. Marilyn lived a very fulfilling life and was a very dedicated wife and mother. She never rested until everyone else was taken care of.

Family meant everything to Marilyn, she loved her brothers and loved spending any time she could with them.  Marilyn never missed an opportunity to spend time watching her grandkids play football, basketball, and baseball.
