Pamela “Pam” Buffington passed away peacefully on January 22, 2022, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska at the age of 69. Pam was born to Russell and Phyliss (Grouse) McCall of Scottsbluff, NE. She graduated from Gering High School and received a Bachelors in Elementary Education through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Pam’s teaching career spans a variety of schools throughout the Panhandle of Nebraska with the majority of her teaching career spent with Gering Public Schools. In addition to Pam’s teaching career, she supported her husband in starting and co-owning Gering Valley Plumbing by adding value to the daily operations. Pam was married to the love of her life, Lee in the Fall of 1975 and they welcomed their daughter Amy Buffington in the Spring of 1985. Pam is survived by her child Amy Buffington of Colorado, brother Ronald McCall of North Carolina, and extended family members of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. A memorial service will be held at a later date this Summer.
