Patricia Carmen Bravo, 56, of Rapid City, South Dakota, formerly of Scottsbluff, Nebraska died November 10, 2021 at Monument Health Hospital Rapid City. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. The Rosary will be recited at 7 PM on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Scottsbluff with Father Joseph Thambi officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Patricia was born March 15, 1965 at Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Manuel and Jenny (Ramirez) Bravo. She received her education in Scottsbluff, graduating from Scottsbluff High School.
Patricia worked in the Scottsbluff area as a C.N.A./M.A. before moving to the Lincoln/Omaha area where she was employed in nursing homes. She moved to Rapid City in 2019, making her home there. She worked in casinos, and in sales and merchandising.
Patricia loved caring for her grandkids, enjoyed spending time with them and her children. She loved nature, outdoors, fishing, taking pictures, and cooking (her favorite dish was fried chicken). She enjoyed doing crafts, playing slot machines, returning to Scottsbluff to see her family and spending time with her mother. Patricia loved to listen to music, enjoyed playing the organ, and loved to dance. She had a heart of gold and always put others before herself, making sure everyone was cared for.
Patricia was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Scottsbluff.
She is survived by her mother Jenny Bravo, daughters Alicia Montanez (Fernando Villegas), Jessica Montanez (Aaron Cervantes), and Andriana Olvera, son Lx Hernandez (Ellany Rirrao), brother Johnny Bravo, sisters Melissa (Carlos) Santana, Eulalia Bravo (Mike Carrillo), grandchildren Gabriella, Millie, Joe III, Augustine, Izayah, Oden, Amaris, and Peggy Ann.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father Manuel Bravo, grandmothers Augustina Bravo and Carmen Ramirez, and grandfather Dionicio Ramirez.
