Patricia Kay Matticks, 77, of Bridgeport, died peacefully at her home the morning of Wednesday, March 2, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Cherry Vista Church of Christ in Englewood, Colorado with Curt Petty officiating. Cremation has taken place in accordance with Pat’s wishes. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and online condolences may be left at www.reverencefuneralparlor.com.
Pat was born August 15, 1944, in Sterling, Colorado to Russell and Lavonne (Smith) Dilley. She graduated from Bayard High School in 1962.
Pat was united in marriage to LeRoy John Matticks on April 21, 1963, in Gering. They had three sons: LeRoy Jr., Kerry, and Nathan. Pat was a loving homemaker and was devoted to giving attentive, compassionate care to others throughout her life.
She stayed active maintaining her household and also kept busy as a legendary cinnamon roll baker. Pat shared thousands of homemade cinnamon rolls with family and friends over the years. She enjoyed treating herself to days at the salon, but most of all, cherished her time spent with family. Her greatest accomplishments were her children, and her biggest joys were her grandchildren. Pat would do anything her grandchildren asked of her including bungee-jumping the Royal Gorge at sixty years old and riding all the rides at Disney World during its 25th anniversary!
Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Matticks; sons, LeRoy Jr. (Pam) Matticks, Kerry (Lynette) Matticks, and Nathan (Greg) Matticks; grandchildren, Bryan, Taren, Nathan, Synjin, McKenna, Riley, and Sayla; great grandchildren, Kiley, Mya, and Caden; brothers, Darrell (Debbie) Dilley and David (Leighann) Dilley; brothers-in-law, Robert (Jan) Matticks and James Matticks.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Wayne Dilley.
