OBITUARY: Suzanne L. Schmuhl Hansen, formerly of Scottsbluff

Suzanne L. Schmuhl Hansen, 59, of Milliken, CO and formerly of Scottsbluff, passed away in the embrace of family, due to cancer on Thursday, December 16, 2021.  Cremation has taken place in accordance with her wishes and services will be held at a later date in Wisconsin.  Online condolences may be made by visiting www.reverencefuneralparlor.com

Suzanne was born October 3, 1962 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.  She was the youngest child of Walter and Kathleen (Skymanski) Schmuhl.

Suzanne worked many different jobs in her short life.  Many years she was a long-haul truck driver, traveling to many states and meeting numerous people.  Her most recent job was hauling milk in Colorado until her health would no longer allow.

Suzanne was a freebird.  She lived her life the way she wanted with the Lord in her life and her faith as her fuel.  She loved to get on her motorcycle and travel with her bike friends to different states to do a short ride.

She always put one hundred-plus into everything she did.  Suzanne helped everyone she could with her big heart and was always willing to give.  She loved all her family and friends.  Suzanne spent as much time as she could with everyone as long as her job would allow and until poor health limited her traveling.  She had a giddy, loud laugh that no one will ever forget.

We love you, Suzanne “Mom”.

She leaves behind her only child, Jesse L. (Krystal) Deines of Scottsbluff; grandsons, Bo, Thomas and Nickolai of Scottsbluff; father, Walter Schmuhl of Wisconsin; two sisters, Christine Schmuhl of Wisconsin and Lorrie Schmuhl of Utah; lifelong friends, Betty Curtis of Gering, Tammy Dobrovolny of Scottsbluff, Angie Minch of Scottsbluff, Patty Rafferty of Frederick, CO, Cindy Nelson of Firestone, CO, Margret Wheeler of Lead, SD; and newly made friend, Julie Fielder of Scottsbluff.

Suzanne is now with her loved ones that have gone before her, her mother, Kathleen; and grandmother, Rose.
