Vince Allen Streeks, 53, passed away on May 12, 2021, at Shepherd of the Valley in Casper, Wyoming due to health complications with family by his side. Vince was born on October 8, 1967 to Don E. Streeks and Sandra D. Streeks at St. Mary’s in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Vince started his early schooling years in Sidney and continued through graduation at Banner County Public Schools and played football in high school.
After graduation Vince entered the United States Army and served from July 1985 to April 1988. At one point he was even stationed in Germany. Vince served with the 1st Infantry Brigade/Company C 7th Battalion. After an honorable discharge he had obtained an Army Service Ribbon, Army of Occupation Medal (Army-Air Force), Good Conduct Medal, Army Lapel Button, Expert Marksmanship Badge M-60 Machine Gun, Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge Grenade, and Marksmanship Badge M203 Grenade Launcher.
After serving in the Army, Vince obtained a Certified Security Officer Badge through Pinkerton Security in January 1991 and made supervisor by April 1999. He then married Irene J. Sewill on May 7, 2005 and was married for 16 years. He was an amazing stepfather to Terry Dasher, Joey Sewill, and Kenny (Angela) Sewill.
Vince loved to sign and talk in German. He loved working on guns making his own ammunition, he was a gun enthusiast. He loved watching old western movies and playing games on his tablet. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family, stepsons, nephews, and brother.
Vince was preceded in death by his father and mother, Don and Sandy Streeks; nephew, Calvin Streeks, and stepdaughter, Terry Dasher.
Vince is survived by his wife, Irene J. Streeks of Minatare; stepsons, Joey Sewill of Mitchell, and Kenny (Angela) Sewill of Minatare; brother, Chris (Lynn) Streeks of Minatare; nephews, Andrew (Samantha) Streeks of Bayard, and Ryan Streeks of Minatare; and his beloved fur pets, Tiger and Sandy.
A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
