Gabriel Bruton of Minatare developed a passion for singing at an early age, and years later he’s still doing what he loves to do. He’s the lead singer for the local band ‘All We Seem,’ and he also enjoys performing with other area musicians and bands, such as Avid Discord and Area 308. He’s also hoping to release his first solo album in 2021.

MINATARE – Gabriel Bruton has had a passion for singing almost since the time he learned to talk. He even recalls singing his first solo song in front of an audience when he was only 6 years old.
“I really enjoyed participating in plays when I was in elementary school,” said the 37-year-old Bruton, who grew up in Norton, Kansas, but now lives in Minatare. “I wanted to have a solo every time.”
Bruton said he developed a passion for music because of his parents. His father, Ty, spent several years playing the drums for a local band called Night Machine. Gabriel’s stepmom, Lynn, enjoyed singing at church, and he said his biological mom, Jayne, had a passion for music, too, including hard rock and grunge.
“My parents were always interested in listening to different genres and styles of music,” Bruton said. “I remember always hearing them talk about different techniques and things they liked about music. That got me really interested in music, too.”
