HEMINGFORD – Timothy Hruby is not only a husband to his wife Stephanie, a dad to his three children – 12-year-old daughter Taya, 14-year-old son Tyan, and 16-year-old daughter Sophie – but he is also a businessman of Hruby Enterprises which offers a welcoming and helping hand to area ranchers needing well repair.
Getting started
Before setting down roots in Hemingford, Timothy grew up in Comstock. In 1998, he graduated from Ord High School and attended Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington on a rodeo scholarship and then finished his degree at Chadron State College. With a Bachelor of Science degree with a natural science endorsement, he had original plans to be a banker, then switched his major to become a high school science teacher. Then shortly before graduating, he dropped the teaching degree.
“When I was in school I first thought I was going to be a banker, so I took a lot of business and finance classes,” said Timothy. “I think that has helped me the most in what I’ve been able to accomplish. I often joke about not using my degree, but I use stuff I learned all the time.”
