Carla Orozco, of Scottsbluff, has been named Nspire Today!’s Hometown Hero of the Week, sponsored by Schank Roofing in Scottsbluff.
Orozco is a LPN at Northfield Retirement Communities’ Care Center in Scottsbluff. She started working at The Care Center in 2004.
“I love working here,” she said. “I love taking care of all the different people, and I love the people I work with. This is one of the best places I’ve worked – both working with the residents and working with the staff.”
Altogether, Orozco has been involved in nursing for 38 years.
“It’s just in my heart,” she said.
Orozco and her husband, Amador, have been married for 46 years and have two children.
Carla said she and her husband have lived in Scottsbluff since 1972.
“I really like living here,” she said. “I think it’s a great place to raise kids.”
Outside of work, Carla said she likes to read and travel.
As a Hometown Hero of the Week honoree, Carla will receive a free one-year subscription to the locally owned and operated Nspire Today! magazine, provided by Schank Roofing.
