SCOTTSBLUFF – Ella Foote, a senior at Scottsbluff High School, is Nspire Today!’s Female Athlete of the Month for August. She’s one of the region’s top volleyball and soccer players. In volleyball, the 5-foot-10 middle blocker is entering her third season as a starter. Last season she was named to the All-Western Conference team. In soccer, she’s started each of the last three seasons. A striker, Foote was named to the all-region first team following her junior season. She’s also a standout in the classroom, holding a 4.0 GPA. She’s involved in National Honor Society. Outside of school, she works as a lifeguard at the Scotts Bluff Country Club. After graduating from high school, she hopes to continue to play either volleyball or soccer in college. She’s undecided on a college major. Her parents are Trisha and Ryan Foote.
