The annual Spring up the Bluff run/walk/relay, presented by NEXT Young Professionals, is set for April 24 at 4:30 p.m. at the Scotts Bluff National Monument in Gering.
Participants are encouraged to register before April 12 to guarantee that they receive a T-shirt. People may register via Facebook or Eventbrite, and they may also register the day of the race (cash or check only).
The entry fee is $15, which includes a T-shirt if registered before April 12.
On the day of the event, registration starts at 3:30 p.m., and the race begins at 4:30 p.m. The course covers 1.6 miles.
People of all ages and abilities are welcome to run, walk or get a team together for a relay. Proceeds benefit visitor services at the Scotts Bluff National Monument.
The event consists of seven categories:
| Male Individual walk/run: A. ages 20 & under B. Ages 21-39 C. Ages 40 and above Female Individual walk/run: A. ages 20 & under B. Ages 21-39 C.
