Spring Up the Bluff run/walk set for April 28

NEXT Young Professionals and Scotts Bluff National Monument will be hosting the Annual Spring Up the Bluff run/walk event on Sunday, April 28, at 5:30 p.m. at Scotts Bluff National Monument. The race will begin at the base of the Monument and will end at the summit (top). Participants will be able to walk or take a bus back down to the base.

This is your chance to race against the clock and your friends to the top of the bluff on the Summit Road, on the oldest concrete road in Nebraska! All proceeds will go directly toward Scotts Bluff National Monument for visitor services improvement projects such as programs and interpretive signage. This event is part of Scotts Bluff National Monument’s Centennial celebration—all race participants will receive a special Centennial sticker! All ages and abilities welcome!

Register online with Facebook / Eventbrite. On-site registration on the day of the race is also available, but registrations will not be accepted after 5 p.m.The cost is $10 per person. Cash, check or debit/credit forms of payment will be accepted. Participants can race individually or on a relay team (2-6 people per team.)

On race day, participants will meet at 5:15 p.m. at the check-in tent. The race will start promptly at 5:30 p.m. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to race time in order to have ample time to find parking, check-in, stretch and prepare for the race.
