‘They help make everyone happy’

Stephanie Hahn, the administrator at the Mitchell Care Center, has been bringing at least one of her dogs to the facility since she started working there seven years ago. Having pets at the care center, she said, helps bring joy and comfort to both residents and staff members.

MITCHELL – When you walk into the Mitchell Care Center, you’ll be greeted by kind and pleasant residents and staff members. You’ll also likely be greeted by two loving, furry friends.

Stephanie Hahn, the administrator at the Mitchell Care Center, brings two of her dogs – an English Bulldog and a Basset Hound – to the facility nearly every day. The reason, she said, is that she loves seeing all the smiles and joy the animals bring to the residents and staff.

“It’s fun to see their eyes light up when I bring the dogs in every morning,” she said.
