Instead of throwing away old watches that no longer work, Carol Wells of Morrill uses them to make cool-looking necklaces. She sells the necklaces at very affordable prices, and all the money that’s collected is donated back to local charities.

MORRILL – Carol Wells of Morrill firmly believes that one person’s junk can be another person’s treasure.

“I like to find things that nobody else is going to do anything with and then fix them up or make something neat out of them,” she said.

Wells has been doing that for about as long as she can remember. She’s enjoyed creating cool-looking items for the home and has also restored some items, like an old dresser, for someone else to use.
