TORRINGTON, Wyo. – Jane Dorn has lived her life by her grandfather’s motto: ”If you say you’re gunna do something, then you better do it.”
She added, “My grandfather’s word was binding. He was an honest rancher who was trusted by his neighbors while also being a good businessman. He had a lot of impact on my life.”
Just like her grandfather, Dorn likes to be a positive influence on the community she lives in. So, when she and her husband, Robert, moved to the Goshen County area for retirement, she wasted no time getting involved in local organizations and events.
“I think it’s a very good community for retirement purposes,” she said. “There’s a fair amount of things to do, and if you read the local papers there’s always something going on. You don’t have to be bored and stay at home. It’s a good small-town atmosphere.”
