Chloe Mann, a junior at Alliance High School, has been attending United Methodist Church in Alliance her entire life. She’s involved in Friendship Company, which consists of doing a puppet show every third Sunday to entertain children in the congregation. She’s also part of her church’s mission committee.

Q: How much have you enjoyed attending United Methodist Church in Alliance?

MANN: “I truly love going to that church. We do a lot of different things at church, such as children’s time and the puppet shows. I think it’s a really fun environment to be in, especially hearing the sermons. They’re really touching.”

Q: What is your favorite Bible verse?

MANN: “Philippians 4:13: ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.’ My mom inspired me through that verse. She really loves it, and she recites it to me all the time. She tells me I can do anything I set my mind to because God will strengthen me.”

Q: What’s your favorite part about being involved in your youth group?

MANN: “The discussions we have. Sometimes it gets pretty deep, but whenever there’s a discussion, I think it brings us closer together as a group and closer to God.”
