Randy graduated from Maxwell High School in 1998, and Kim graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 2007. In this business profile, Randy answers a number of questions about Hand Crafted.

Q: How has business been going since you moved Hand Crafted to downtown Gering at the end of October?

RANDY: “It’s been going really good. Business has really picked up. We hope it’s not just because of the holidays. We think business will stay steady because of our new location.”

Q: Why did you decide to move your business to downtown Gering?

RANDY: “This store is three times bigger than the store we had in Mitchell. Plus, there’s more traffic on the street in front of our business. Overall, it’s just a better location for our business. Being able to move into this store has been a big blessing for us.”

Q: What kind of store is Hand Crafted?

RANDY: “We’re a consignment shop for hand crafted and homemade items. We also have antiques and collectibles. We do what we can to help people grow their home-based businesses as long as it’s an antique, collectible, or home-made item.”
