Carpenter Center tumbling team to compete in state meet Saturday, April 6, at WNCC

The Carpenter Center’s tumbling team will compete in the 2019 Colorado State Meet on Saturday, April 6, at Western Nebraska Community College’s Cougar Palace.

In addition to the Carpenter Center’s tumbling athletes, there will also be competitors from several gyms in Colorado. The Carpenter Center tumbling program won a bid to host the state event at WNCC.

The state meet will begin at 10 a.m. There will be three categories of competition – floor, double mini, and trampoline. 

Nearly 30 members of the Carpenter Center’s tumbling team qualified for state. The Carpenter Center team also includes athletes from Kimball.

Admission is $3 per person.

The regional competition is in Santa Clara, California, in May. From there, athletes will look to qualify for nationals this summer in Palm Beach, Florida.
