Marsha Rogers and Bill Vaughan, of Mitchell, went on their first date when they were in college, but they only dated for one month. Now, 40 years later, they have found each other again and are building a life they love together.

MITCHELL – Marsha Rogers and Bill Vaughan, of Mitchell, first met in 1976, but they wouldn’t officially begin their lives together until 40 years later.
“I was 18 and he was 21,” Rogers said. “We met in Biochem class at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. After I entered the room on the first day, I realized I would need a lab partner and took a look around the room. I saw Bill sitting toward the rear of the room. He was wearing a farmer’s cap, western shirt, and Wrangler’s work boots. He reminded me of my dad, whose name was also Bill.”
