Morrill school nurse Caitlin Pittman balances faith, family, service, and perseverance while inspiring others to never give up on their dreams.

MORRILL – For Caitlin Pittman, becoming a nurse was never simply a career choice. It was a calling she felt from an early age, long before she fully understood the sacrifices and perseverance that journey would require.
“I don’t remember ever not wanting to be a nurse,” Pittman said.
Starting with the upcoming school year, Pittman serves as the district school nurse for Morrill Public Schools, where she plans to bring compassion, life experience, and resilience into the hallways each day. But her path to nursing was far from easy. It included years of balancing work, family responsibilities, college coursework, foster parenting, personal loss, illness, and the emotional toll of navigating nursing school during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through every obstacle, Pittman leaned heavily on her faith, her family, and a support system of mentors and friends who refused to let her quit.
Now, as she begins this new chapter at Morrill Public Schools, Pittman hopes her story encourages others to keep moving forward no matter how difficult life becomes.
