CHADRON – Jameson Margetts, a senior at Chadron High School, has been named Nspire Today!’s Male Student of the Month for December, sponsored by 16th Empire Restaurant in Scottsbluff. Margetts is involved in One Acts, speech, mock trial, Interact Club, musical, History Day, and cross country. He has a 4.0 GPA. Outside of school, he’s involved in the youth group at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chadron. After graduating from high school, Margetts plans to attend a college on the east coast – likely either Maryland or Penn State – and major in criminal justice. His parents are James and Colleen Margetts. For being named a student of the month, Jameson will receive a gift certificate for a free meal at 16th Empire Restaurant.

Q: How has your senior year of school been going?

MARGETTS: “It’s been a different year because of COVID, but I’m still getting the same, good education. I’m taking a lot of hard classes, which I like because it’s helping me prepare for the future.”

Q: What is your most difficult class?

MARGETTS: “Probably AP Literature. There’s a lot of reading, which I wasn’t prepared to do. But it’s still a lot of fun.”

The entire Q&A with Margetts is in the December 2020 issue of Nspire Today! magazine. To sign up for a one-year subscription (12 issues), you may send $15 to Nspire Today!, P.O.
