Charles “Chuck” Johannsen has been named Nspire Today!’s Hometown Hero of the Week, sponsored by Schank Roofing in Scottsbluff.
Johannsen, a resident at Western Nebraska Veterans Home in Scottsbluff, served in the Army from Feb. 10, 1955, to Feb. 4, 1957. His speciality was driving a tank.
