Twins and triplets bring a unique dynamic to Bridgeport Public Schools

BRIDGEPORT – In a small school system like Bridgeport Public Schools, where faces are familiar and relationships stretch across generations, there’s something especially intriguing about walking into a classroom and realizing there’s not just one student who looks like that — there are two, or sometimes three.
For years, Bridgeport has quietly been home to several sets of twins and a set of triplets. While the novelty may catch outsiders off guard, for these students, being a twin or triplet is less about spectacle and more about shared history, inside jokes, misunderstandings, and a lifelong balancing act between togetherness and individuality.
Their stories reveal that while the experience often comes with humor and comfort, it also brings challenges that few truly understand.
For the Blanco triplets — Isaac, Henry, and Elena — life has never been singular. From their earliest memories, family moments were always shared.
Isaac Blanco remembers simple, ordinary togetherness as defining. One of his earliest memories involves “making playdough with my siblings,” a small snapshot that captures the constant presence of his brother and sister. Over time, that closeness carried into milestones. “Celebrating holidays like Christmas or our birthday with them,” remains his favorite part of being a triplet.
