Ericka Gonzalez of Scottsbluff has been named Nspire Today!’s Hometown Hero of the Week, sponsored by Schank Roofing in Scottsbluff.
Gonzalez has been a medication aide at the Western Nebraska Veterans Home in Scottsbluff for six years.
“She’s one of the people who cares the most about veterans,” said one of her co-workers. “She bends over backward to help make their day a little brighter. She’s willing to help here no matter what’s going on in her life. She always puts veterans first.”
